Crazy Circle Optical Illusion

When we look at the natural world around us, there is a rather interesting phenomenon that most of us tend to take for granted. It doesn’t matter if we are looking at the clouds in the sky, the waves of the sea or even a litter of puppies, there are going to be patterns that become visually evident. These are regularities that are found in the natural world and they may occur in a wide variety of contexts.

At times, these patterns can be mimicked mathematically and when that is the case, you may really be in for a visual treat. For example, the circle inside of a circle in this video appears to be simply spinning around the perimeter but when you are shown it from a different perspective, you see that the balls are actually moving in a straight line. Further investigation helps you to see what is actually taking place, even though it is perceived as circular motion.

The natural patterns in the world around us not only include direction, it also includes many other factors, such as trees, waves, cracks, stripes, spirals and foams. Taking the time to look into these various patterns can really give you greater appreciation for the world where we live
